This year we got to go to Cody, Wy again for the 4th of July. We haven't been for a few years since we had Hansen. It is just a fun place to go for the 4th and the company isn't too shabby either. Jon's dad and his wife Linda live there and we had a great time. Here is Hansen at the parade. They put on a great parade every time, but it was just so hot this year.
My little family getting ready for the parade to start.
Jon, Hansen, Jobi and Grandpa Roger
This is a long line of pack mules all hooked together. It's really cool in person.
They had 2 bat mobile replicas
Look how much fun they are having?!?! -This was after the parade.
This cute little lady is so much fun. Linda and I always go out shopping and find cool stuff. She always shows me a good time and I love to be with her. Thanks Linda!
Wait - something isn't quite right in this picture.
The last 2 times we've been in Wyoming for the 4th, they've had the Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard. They are the only ones in the U.S. It is so cool to see. Gives me chills and makes me almost cry everytime I see it.
Jobi is going to be as tall as Uncle Sam someday soon. So funny!
Look at us all enjoying each others company. Relax - we are on vacation.
At the airport
Hansen is super helpful with the dishes
Ha - a little one and a big one!
Grandpa has always had a problem with biting
We had to rent a car for the ride home and we got a mini van. Jobi had so much room and he fell asleep. Everyone was wanting a mini van after that trip. They are pretty roomy and nice with kids. I just can't do it though. We had such a great time. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma! You guys always show us a great time and spoil us. Can't wait to come back.
Here are my 2 cute boys together. They are so handsome.
My friend Rachael cut Hansen's hair for me. She has a baby boy a week younger than Hansen and like double the size. He is so big. Hansen didn't even cry at all. He just sat there and looked around. It was so cute.
He still has his faux hawk, but sadly no more curl. He still looks gorgeous!!!
You can't tell in this picture, but Rachael's son, Mario, is way bigger. Hopefully they will be friends someday. Cutie cutes!!!
Jobi was asked to be on this basketball team for a tournament called The Leverage. He was hesitant at first, but ended up really liking his team. They played in an AAU tournament and won the grade/level they played. It was so much fun to watch. The whole expo center was filled with all different age kids playing basketball. He played 2 games on thursday, 1 on friday, and 2 on saturday and won them all. Hansen was a little sick of basketball by saturday. Jobi played so good. We are so proud of him. What a rockstar!
Here is Jobi on the bench and his coach in there too.
After one of the games. Our jersey didn't get here in time, so Jobi was McKeon. It was funny!
Hansen's new ride
This ref looked similar to Roger Gelder. Maybe you've heard of him? I thought everyone has by now!
The naughty one. He didn't even let me watch this last game. He had had enough. I got to walk around and entertain him.
