Baking Duo

Jobi has been my little baking/cooking helper lately.  He loves to help in the kitchen.  I never take pictures of him in action, so I thought I should start.  Isn't he the cutest boy ever?
We were making snickerdoodles.  They are Jobi's favorite cookies.

This is what we will really look like someday.  I bet he is as tall as Jon in this picture.  I know I'm not ready for that yet!  Keep dreaming buddy!

Meeting the Utah Jazz Players

My nice sister, Kate, and her kids came to Utah and invited us with them to go meet all the Utah Jazz players. We were all so excited and luckily she got us all tickets. Jobi and Ryker were the most excited. They met almost every player. Al Jefferson, Earl Watson, and Josh Howard were the only ones he didn't get to meet because they were out of town or injured. We got a picture of almost all of them.
This is Jeremy Evans. He was this years Slam Dunk Contest winner.
This is Devin Harris and Jobi says, "he is just plain awesome!"
This is Jeff Hornecek. He used to play for the Jazz and now is an assistant coach.
This is Derrick Favors. That is Reese in the background getting her pink and purple basketball signed. I went to Target and got them all mini balls to get the players signatures on, so they can put them on a shelf.
This is C.J. Miles.
This is Gordon Hayward.
This is Paul Millsap
This was what the lines looked like to get the signatures. There really weren't that many people because you have to be in like the highest club of the Jazz which Kate's husband works for a company that is part of that club. We are really glad he works there and shared the tickets with us!
Jon and Jobi in line to get signatures. What a cute pair.
Jon and his new family. Reese and Kate with Jon.
Jobi and Ryker anxiously waiting to get in the gym to meet the players.

Cute boys! They had so much fun.

We are so boring!

We have been so boring. We haven't done anything worth taking pictures of really. You will all be sick of how many pictures I will be posting in a couple months when our little baby is born. Yay, can't wait! This is a short version of Jobi when we were at the movie theater. He just shrunk magically!
We did end up going to the Utah Jazz vs. Miami Heat basketball game last weekend. We had a great time and the game was soooooo good. It was so close at the end, I thought we were going to loose, but we ended up winning!
Jobi loves basketball so much and he knows all the players names and their bdays and where they played previously and in college. It would be nice to remember all those details. I can't even remember yesterday!
Finally, we got the glass installed in our new office. It took a couple of months for some reason. It is leaded glass with 3 different kinds of glass. It looks really nice, but the important thing is, it keeps Jon's crazy music in the office so I don't have to listen to it in the kitchen! Yay!

Here is Hainey hard at work. She is a very hard worker and takes after her dad working in advertising.

A Couple Pics of the Remodel and Some Randoms

I thought this picture of Jobi was so cute and funny. He was wearing some of my glasses and sitting in the front seat. He looked like a little old lady to me and a mix of a skater boy. Is it just me? HaHa!
What a handsome boy! He doesn't get any cuter.
Another great shot of my boy. He is so into football and basketball. He knows everything about every detail and player in both sports. It's amazing how much he knows. I love how passionate he is about sports and I hope it continues as he keeps getting older.
Jobi and the Bostons on a walk around our lake. The mountains make a pretty back drop too.
Jon at the airport. He is pretty cute.
Here is a picture of Jon's new office/the old dining room. It looks better now that we have unpacked it a bit and put in the ceiling light. I'll take a better picture soon.
This is the new baby's room/Jon's old office. We put up wainscoting and a shelf and painted the walls and ceiling blue. It looks really good.
This is the shelf that is part of the wainscoting. I love it! We clearly need to get the carpets cleaned! I hope the furniture we choose goes good in here. I'll take pictures of that along the way too. I'm so excited to see it all done. Our Carpenter did a great job. He is the best!

Ultrasound

This is an updated picture of the baby bump and the baby's new room. We went and got an ultrasound this weekend and found out it is for sure a boy and he looks normal. We can hardly wait to meet him. He just needs to grow some more.
Here is me at the ultrasound. My best friend Lisa was in town for the ultrasound. It was so nice that she got to be there with me and Jon and Jobi. She is as excited as we are to welcome a new Gelder boy into our family.
Here is a little baby hand all opened up. It is so cute and weird to think of how tiny it actually is. I love to see him move all around and all the tiny baby body parts. How lucky am I that I get to experience this all again. I never thought I would get to experience being pregnant again or get the chance to be a mother of 2. I can't wait for June. It seems so far away.
Cute little face shot. Looks like he is going to be pretty handsome. Just like his big brother!

Oldies

I stole some of these pictures from Erin's blog, but I wanted them on mine too! We recently made a quilt for my mom for her birthday and we used old pictures on the quilt. Here are some that we used. This is a family photo of me growing up. We are just missing little Kate. This was in 1979. Isn't my mom soooo pretty in this picture? I loved her hair.

This is Erin riding her bike naked of course. She is so cute!
This is me! I was such a little model. Bow chicka bow bow! Diggin the curlers.
This is a picture of Erin, Kate, Great Grandma Jo, and Chad. Great Grandma Jo was such a special person. She lived to be like 95 and had the best sense of humor right to the end. She was so cute.
Here is Chad and the brother he never had, Erin. She was his little shadow.
Look at that farm boy. He still really loves to fish.
This is Kate on her 2nd birthday. She is the cutest kid. You can definitely see some Reese in Kate.
Joey with her mullet and cinderella dress. What a perfect picture.
Speaking of weird 80's hair, look and me and Erin's funny bangs. We are all still pretty cute here though.
I love this picture. Everything about it is a great memory. The 80's were fun.
My mom must have been out of town because whenever she did, my dad would buy us a soda as a treat. I don't remember the last time I had a squirt. What a bunch of cute kids.
Now we are just missing Chad. All us girls and Mom and Dad. Seems like forever ago.
My mom and cute baby Jobi. They are both so smiley! Cute, cute!
My mom came to visit me somewhere that I lived. Probably Boise.
This was when I was in High School. I look so young. Time flies.
High School Graduation! That was only almost 16 years ago. That sounds like forever! What good looking parents I have.
In high school we went to Big Sky skiing as a family and here is a photo of it. For some reason I got to bring my high school boyfriend. He was my boyfriend and my best friend and he was also one of Joey's best friends. So, we had a lot of fun. Everyone has grown up so much since then.
