Hansen's Birth Story

 Before
 After
Hansen Owen Gelder 8 lbs 5oz 18 inches long Born on Monday June 11, 2012
So here is how it all happened.  The night before, Sunday, I started getting this solid menstrual pain that wouldn't go away.  It didn't come and go like a contraction would.  It was a non-stop pain, but I didn't think it was a big deal because it wasn't a contraction feeling.  I figured if it was labor then the  pain would get worse.  Nothing happened in the night, but it still hurt the next day.  We didn't end up going to the hospital until Monday at like 5:00 P.M.  The Doctor said the pain I was feeling was the previous C- section scar separating.  I guess that isn't a good thing because he said you will have a baby in the next 30 minutes.  I was in shock for sure after that.  The rest of the night felt like I was dreaming.
He ended up being born at 7:22 P.M. that night and it all went great.  It was a really good experience.  I still can't believe I have a newborn again!
Jobi holding Hansen for the first time.  He was a little worried about it, but he did perfectly!

Cousin Reese holding Hansen for the first time.  She was so excited to hold him and she loves to give him kisses.  She is so cute!
Flowers from my mom and dad.  Thanks guys!
Indi excited about her new cousin!

Dylan holding Hansen.  Isn't he a cutie pie?
Little munchkin's face looks different in every picture.
Dad and his little muscle man.
 What a cute pair.
Jobi loves his little brother so much and he is such a help to me.  He holds him when ever I ask and he is always running around doing favors for me.
Such a sweetie.  I can't wait until he smiles because he is happy to see us and not just in his dreams!
Sun tanning because of the high bellirubin.

More to come.  I had to break it up a little bit.  Ha ha!

More of Moab 2012

 Jon relaxing
It was a little colder than I expected, so I bundled up!
 Miss Hainey
Jobi in the sunset.  He loved to go climb the mountain like every other year we've been there.  This time he brought a photographer.
There were these little mouse things called kangaroo rats, that would come and steal the dog food.  Miss Hainey didn't like that much.  She was on edge all night trying to catch some.
 Jobi's "special" dance!
This picture is just awesome.  Thats Greg dancing around the fire.

What a nice shot of Jobi and his old dog, Quincy.

 Greg and Jobi's big muscles.
We stopped by this giant sand dune and Jobi and Haines climbed to the top.  Now the fun part was coming down.  She had so much sand in her eyes!

 So cute/funny!

It was like the grand canyon in Utah!  So pretty in person.
Jon, Jobi, and Greg went for a hike.

Jobi's Spring Basketball

Jobi played on a new team this fall called a super league and they were really good.  They just won the championship on saturday, but those pictures haven't been downloaded yet.  Jobi did awesome and I think he learned a lot.

Never mind the classy tape on his jersey.  There were two #22 on his team and we borrowed the uniform from his coach because there wasn't enough time to get him the right uniform, but it worked.
 Look at that form!

 Full concentration

I wish you all could be there to watch him.  He did so good.  I'm sure it is the pregnancy hormones, but I was so proud with how he played at the championship game that I had to keep telling myself not to cry.  He scored 22 points and like 11 rebounds.  He was on fire!!!
